Ever since Leonardo DiCaprio split from his girlfriend Camila Morrone, there’s been a flurry of romance rumors between the Academy Award-winning actor and supermodel Gigi Hadid. The gossip mill has been churning double time after a photo surfaced of the two talking during a Fashion Week party in N.Y.C.
The stars attended an exclusive fête thrown by DiCaprio’s friends Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol at Soho’s Casa Cipriani. In exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com, the pair appear to be leaning in close together, trying to speak in what was presumably a loud setting.
While DiCaprio sported a black short-sleeve shirt and his signature black baseball cap, Hadid wore a white cropped tank and baggy light-wash jeans. The pair have been said to be “getting to know each other,” and spending time together in the city.
After his recent breakup with actress and model Morrone, the actor and climate activist’s choice in younger women has pervaded headlines and social media. Hadid is reportedly the first woman DiCaprio, 47, has ever dated who is over the age of 25 and who has a child. 27-year-old Hadid shares 2-year-old daughter Khai Hadid Malik with ex, One Direction alum Zayn Malik.
“Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” one source told People, while another added, “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split [his break up with actress Camila Morrone]. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”
DiCaprio and Morrone recently ended their four-year relationship just months after Morrone turned 25, making her the oldest person he’s ever publicly dated.
