Florence Pugh has never been one to shy away from a stop-and-stare red carpet moment, and her first look of 2023 was no different. On Sunday evening, some of music’s hottest stars gathered at the 2023 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, while other Hollywood A-listers like Pugh, jetted across the pond to attend the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

Pugh opted for an all-red bridal look from Robert Wun’s Spring/Summer 2023 Couture collection straight off the runway, featuring a strapless, floor-length gown with a lace-up back, a fitted bodice and a dramatic fanned out pleated peplum. Pugh brought her look to the next level with an extra-large red fedora, complete with a red tulle veil.

Styling her blonde locks into a simple, slicked back lob, with a dramatic side-part, Pugh kept her makeup minimal, with a glowing complexion. The actress accessorized with dainty gold Tiffany & Co. jewels, including a layered Elsa Peretti Chain Wave necklace, Elsa Peretti teardrop hoop earrings in 18k gold, delicate Elsa Peretti Bean stud earrings and a layered Elsa Peretti Wave Five-Row bangle.

During the ceremony, Pugh was honored with the British/Irish Actress of the Year for Body of Work Award for her portrayal of the British nurse Lib Wright in The Wonder.

She snapped photos alongside her brother, Game of Thrones actor Toby Sebastian, Ke Huy Quan and Paul Mescal, as well as some other Critics’ Circle Film Award winners and Oscar contenders including Everything Everywhere All at Once‘s Michelle Yeoh and Tár‘s Cate Blanchett. Yeoh took home the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film Award and Blanchett won the Actress of the Year Award.

Both Best Actress Oscar nominees also brought some fun with their fashion over the weekend. The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress attended the ceremony in a voluminous black tulle trench coat from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection, featuring a wrapped waist tied with a bow and bubble sleeves. Yeoh teamed her look with platform boots and an emerald green manicure to match her large green statement earrings.

Yeoh has been lighting up red carpets on her press tours and throughout awards season, paving her own path in the process. With the help of stylist Jordan Johnson Chung, the 60-year-old fashionista has harnessed a unique sartorial sensibility, donning styles exemplifying classic exuberance to more cutting-edge designs.

Blanchett followed suit in more ways than one. Also wearing an Alexander McQueen design, the Tár actress suited up in a custom creation she’s worn before (a favorite practice of Blanchett). She last wore the single-breasted black tuxedo jacket with blue sculpted puff-sleeve accents and tuxedo trousers at a special screening of Where’d You Go Bernadette in New York City in 2019.

We can’t wait to see what else stars step out in as award season continues this month.
