2020 is the year of Florence Pugh. The actress is living a Hollywood fairytale right now, starring in breakout roles in Little Women, Midsommar, and Fighting With My Family in 2019 alone. And then there’s the Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Little Women. Did we mention she’s only 24? It’s true. Pugh is living a cinematic dream.

It’s this Oscar nomination that saw her attend the 92nd Oscars Nominees Luncheon in Hollywood overnight, turning up looking like a tangerine dream in a one-shouldered Monse dress. Her makeup matched the color mood, with eyes painted softly in shades of papaya, mandarin and apricot. Nude lips and a soft swirl of blush kept the eyes a focus.

But if was Pugh’s hair we’re saving (and copying) for later: a slick top knot with a metallic twist. The actress is the queen of red carpet high buns, but her stylist Peter Lux added a piece of silver thread through the front that coiled through into the up-do. It was a nod to the high-shine silver Prada number she wore at the Critics Choice Awards just a few weeks back. Finished with lots of hairspray, it’s the perfect display of awards season glamour on an otherwise reliable hairstyle. We already can’t wait to see what she does at the Oscars (12 days and counting).
