Hot off her memorable Venice Film Festival red carpet moment for Don’t Worry Darling, Florence Pugh is back on the promo tour circuit, stepping out in a parade of stellar looks. On Friday, she arrived in London to promote her new film, The Wonder, where she attended the 2022 BFI London Film Festival, special screenings of the film, the Netflix Awards Brunch, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 2022 New Members Reception.

With the help of celebrity stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the star has channeled a romantic, boudoir-esque aesthetic through feminine silhouettes and delicate fabrications in velvet, silk, sheer tulle, feathers, and lace.

The Wonder comes out in November and is based on Emma Donoghue’s 2016 novel of the same name, inspired by a chilling true story set in the 19th century. Pugh stars as the British nurse Lib Wright, who travels to visit a devout 11-year-old named Anna O’Donnell who claims to have been starving herself for months. The child asserts to have remained nourished simply through “manna from heaven,” rather than any food in a famine-ravaged Ireland.

Pugh, who began her career starring in the 2017 adaptation of Lady Macbeth, is returning to her Victorian thriller roots and has already received critical acclaim for her latest performance. The film is slated to hit select theaters November 2, before debuting on Netflix on November 16.
