This week Dua Lipa wrapped up her celebrated Future Nostalgia Tour after a massive 94 shows. The pop star’s red carpet return saw her attend the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City overnight — better known as the “Shoe Oscars” — proving once and for all that she’s the ultimate style chameleon (and award-winning footwear designer apparently).
To mark the occasion Lipa wore a black cutout gown paired with a Luar Spring 2023 blue ostrich leather coat, a furry heart-shaped bag and Puma x Dua Lipa Cell Dome King sneakers — an ensemble no doubt put together by her stylist Lorenzo Posocco. She finished her look with a slick braided ponytail and a blue smoked eyeshadow.
The 27-year-old attended the event with songwriter and designer Billy Walsh. The duo received this year’s debut Collection of the Year Award for their Puma x Dua Lipa Flutur Drop 2 collection. Can she do no wrong?
November certainly proved to be an impressive month for Lipa. Not only did she perform her largest show ever — a 200,000 strong crowd — she was awarded citizenship in her ancestral home of Albania. She accepted the honour in head-to-toe Bottega Veneta. Overnight she also appeared on the cover of Variety alongside legendary collaborator Elton John.
Soon enough the singer will be able to add “actress” to her burgeoning CV with Lipa slated to appear in the Apple TV+ spy thriller Argylle alongside Henry Cavill in late March 2023. We can already imagine all the premiere red carpet looks.
