We bow down to the undisputed queen of adventurous beauty looks, Dua Lipa. The singer’s hair and makeup aesthetic remains ever-evolving and experimental, from bleached blonde locks with dark color peeking through underneath, to orange-fizz face-framing streaks.
While Lipa recently returned to her roots with a natural brunette hue, we’re happy to see that it hasn’t slowed her penchant for fresh looks – and her latest might just be our new favorite.
The ‘Physical’ singer recently debuted a new hairstyle for her upcoming music video with late rapper Pop Smoke. The video for the song ‘Demeanor’ – which has already been dubbed a certified bop – sees Lipa don Bridgerton-esque gowns with blunt bangs and XXL hair extensions.
Hairstylist Chris Appleton also created oversized bows with the hair, which sat at the back of the star’s head, for a modern take on Regency-period glamour. Meanwhile makeup artist Mary Phillips created a complementary soft bronze smokey eye, with full, groomed arches, romantic flushed cheeks and ultra-glossy nude lips.
Even in her down time, Lipa is staying on top of her beauty game. The 25-year-old is currently on vacation in Albania – where her parents hail from – with her family and boyfriend Anwar Hadid, where she has been posting myriad enviable pics. One such shot showed Lipa cuddled up with Hadid, revealing that the pair appear to have coordinating colorful manicures.
While Lipa’s nails see a bright green hue concentrated in French tips, Hadid’s nails alternate between block pastel shades of yellow, green, blue and coral. Lipa has also seemingly kept her extensions since the ‘Demeanor’ shoot but has ditched the fringe in favor of a deep side part and high half-up ponytail.
While the ‘Demeanor’ video is set to premiere tomorrow, we truly can’t wait to see what Lipa and her glam squad serve up next.
