Naomi Campbell and Demi Moore caused quite the stir last week in Paris when they made surprise appearances at the Fendi Spring 2021 Couture fashion show, walking the runway for designer Kim Jones. Today, Tuesday, February 2, the two legends met again for an epic tête-à-tête on Campbell’s popular YouTube series, No Filter With Naomi. The supermodel opened the gab fest by gushing over the accomplished actress.

“She’s as real as they come,” Campbell praised the 58-year-old. “I always learn something from her. She’s a real gem.”

With nearly identical, bone straight waist-length hairstyles, the two beauties, still in Paris, sat side by side on a brown sofa and jumped right into their shared fashion moment the day before.

“It didn’t hit me afterwards that it was really a teenage fantasy fulfilled,” Moore recalled of opening the show and making her runway debut. “I took a moment and I thought ‘oh my God, I just walked a runway show with some of the biggest models ever.'”

“It was a very special show,” agreed the 51-year-old Brit who closed out the presentation. “Even though there was no audience, it felt like there was an audience to me, there was no difference to me. I think also because of the way the set was built, everyone having their own individual boxes, you won’t have seen the audience anyway.”

Christy Turlington, Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, and her 18-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, also stomped the runway in Jones’ first ever Fendi Couture collection on Monday, February 1. Succeeding the late Karl Lagerfeld as artistic director of womenswear and couture, Jones’ collection included free-flowing capes, shimmering evening gowns and androgynous men’s looks, with inspirations ranging from Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s baroque marble sculptures to Virginia Woolf’s 1928 novel Orlando.

“I think that because he uses such a diverse group of women and men It just really speaks to who he is and what he sees,” the Golden Globe nominee said of Jones. “It felt special for me because it felt less that it was entirely about the clothes but it was more about the full story. It felt very magical.”

Campbell then brought up just how sweet it was seeing Moore spending time with her three daughters — Rumer 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27— as well as her ex, Bruce Willis, his wife, Emma, and their daughters — Mabel, 8 and Evelyn, 6 during the pandemic.

“There’s been a lot of challenges and tragedies with the pandemic but I also think there’s been a lot of gifts and blessings,” the Striptease actress said. “I personally felt like I was really grateful for things slowing down and the time that we had.”

“It was amazing,” she continued. “My girls love their little sisters. Our family, regardless what the shape is, it’s important to keep together.”

The ladies then took a walk down memory lane, reminiscing about times they spent together back in the 90s, including a Las Vegas fight night at the Mirage hotel and  visiting designer Azzedine Alaïa in Paris together. Campbell even revealed she once babysat Moore’s youngest daughter, Tallulah.

“I look her to my Chanel fittings,” the model laughed ,thinking back.

Other subjects Moore and Campbell touched on during the one-on-one included the actress’ vulnerable memoir Inside Out, her infamous Vanity Fair cover and one-time reputation of being a diva. One subject that did not come up in the interview was the recent drama surrounding Moore’s face. Following the Fendi show, fans went wild online exclaiming that the Indecent Proposal star looked nearly unrecognizable, leaving some wondering if she had cosmetic enhancements or just heavy makeup.

Campbell launched her passion project YouTube series back in the spring amid the COVID-19 global pandemic sharing “intimate conversations” with some of her closest friends in the worlds of fashion, media, film, and music. Her inaugural guest was Cindy Crawford, while subsequent guests ranged from Marc Jacobs, Adut Akech, and Christy Turlington to Ashley Graham, Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Richie.
