Courteney Cox is following in the footsteps of other A-list celebrities by getting into the beauty business. But for Cox, she’s completely rethinking how to beautify home-cleaning products with her new brand, Homecourt.

The Friends actress shared the news on Tuesday with Beauty Inc, explaining that the idea for the company was to “make a beauty line for the home.” (Anyone else think Cox’s Friends character — cleaning-obsessed Monica Geller — would be the first in line to shop it?)

What the Scream actress created in the first launch (along with cofounders, Nécessaire’s Nick Axelrod-Welk and former Viktor & Rolf head of marketing Sarah Jahnke) contains hand wash, dish soap and surface cleaner, which will come in four scents developed by the perfumery, Givaudan and Robertet. The “Cece” scent actually features Cox’s signature fragrance, which she says combines “two oils and one perfume” that she mixes together.

“I’m obsessed with design and my home, and I wanted the home to smell like something that I’d want to wear,” Cox told the outlet. “During the pandemic, we were so used to the smell of Clorox, but then you’re like, ‘OK, we’re still at home,’ and I don’t want my house to smell like that anymore.”

A luxurious scent wasn’t the only thing Cox wanted to offer — the dish soaps incorporate glycerin, while the hand soaps features Argan oil and Australian hibiscus flower extract, for extra hydration.

Products are set to range from $20 to $50 with hand lotion, candle and room deodorant launching in the coming months.
