Chloe Sevigny
Chloe Sevigny arrives to “The Dead Don’t Die” New York Premiere at Museum of Modern Art on June 10, 2019 in New York City.

As the original street style star in the ’90s, Chloë Sevigny has always been known for breaking boundaries and thinking outside the box when it comes to her iconic sense of style. In March 2020, Sevigny wore an unconventional black wedding dress to marry her husband, Sinisa Mackovic, in a City Hall ceremony in New York City. Now, two years later, it appears that Sevigny and her beau are going to walk down the wedding aisle again, and she’s keeping in her signature spin on bridal dressing going at her bachelorette party.

Earlier this week, the actress shared videos and photos on Instagram of her “#bacheloretteweekend” soaking up the sun at the Palm Heights Resort on Grand Cayman Island, and posed for the pics donning an ultra-sheer white mini dress by Hungarian designer Fabian Kis-Juhasz.

Sevigny captioned her post, “I’m coming for you @sinisamackovic” with a ring emoji and the hashtags  #goingtothechapel #getintheshell. The dress featured all the over-the-top elements Sevigny loves: ruffles, frills, lace, and mini skirt moment. If that dress wasn’t a statement already, Sevigny accessorized the look with frilly “tornado” socks also from Fabian Kis-Juhasz, a mini crossbody bag, and, naturally, a matching veil.

Stylist Haley Wollens also shared candid videos, including one of the star and bestie Natasha Lyonne taking a night swim in the resort’s pool, fully dressed in the statement-making gown, and posing around the fabulous grounds.

Wollens’ also shared a second look that Sevigny rocked during the getaway, posting a video of the star walking in the sand in a pair of Loewe heels, wearing a black dress with sheer panel across the bodice with an on-the-nose heart-shaped bag.

Not to skip out on all the traditional bachelorette weekend gear, at the airport Sevigny was equipped with a white hat featuring the word “Bride” with a veil attached.

As we wait for Sevigny to walk down the aisle (again), we can’t help but wonder what she’ll decide to wear on her special day. Given her bachelorette ensemble, one thing is for sure, the bride-to-be isn’t holding back on her quirky avant-garde style, and whatever she decides to wear, it’s sure to have a major wow factor.
