What do Fabien Baron, Chloë Sevigny, and José Marques da Silva all have in common (aside from being iconic and titans of their perspectives industries)? They’re all a part of Zara Home‘s cinematic campaign for their AW21 collection. To accompany this season’s homeware and decor offerings, Zara Home has paired up with the legendary art director, Fabien Baron, to produce a conceptual short film. “The Last Line”, written and directed by Baron, stars fashion aesthete Chloë Sevigny—chic as ever—in a gorgeous villa, surrounded by the latest offerings from Zara Home. Casa de Serralves—the Art Deco masterpiece of famed Portuguese architect and key early 20th century architectural figure, José Marques da Silva—serves as the perfect, tonal backdrop for Zara Home AW21. The film follows Sevigny’s preparation for a role, while highlighting the minimal yet timeless new collection. From Wabi-sabi inspired ceramic vases, to more traditional glassware, the collection speaks to the aesthetic overall vision of the brand.

With their attention to detail, materiality and respect for design history, Zara Home has established itself as a uber stylish go-to for timeless, well informed design. This AW21 collection with its classic lines, natural linens, ceramics and neutral palette, make the case for great additions to any home. It’s a curated collection, very paired down and edited, that works for any space. Much like in the film, the collection is all about intention with well crafted basics; the single jute placemat and place setting, the cylindrical, cream candles on the console table, the taupe waffle nit kitchen towel. Sevigny exist in this expansive minimalist space, with the Zara Home objects, serving as catalysts that inspire and shape her acting exploration.
