Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria, made an appearance this morning on The Today Show where he displayed some of his cooking skills. While in the middlee of his section, the interviewer asked him whether or not his mother or his father was the better cook growing up. Beckham pondered over the question while going through the steps of making an English breakfast sandwich.

“My dad,” Beckham said. “He likes to cook anything — risotto, pasta, loves steak.”

I don’t know about you all, but I would not be mad at the idea of David Beckham cooking risotto for me, what more could you ask for in an English gentleman?

While Brooklyn said that a lot of his cooking prowess came from his father, he said that the breakfast sandwich he was making was actually inspired by another relative completely.

“My great-grandma taught me how to make this, so it’s really special to me.” Beckham said that his love for food was peaked during quarantine, even though he’s always had a love for it. So much so, in fact, that his fiancé Nicola Peltz started filming him in the kitchen and posting it to social media.

“My fiancée started filming me, and I started posting it,” Beckham said. “And it’s just something I love doing.”

Beckham went on to talk about the love he has for Peltz, reminiscing about their engagement, which occurred in July of 2021 after a nine month relationship prior. They became Instagram official in January and most of the pictures of them online seem to bee of them together, rarely a moment apart. Peltz even got a tattoo dedicated to their love, with the name “Brooklyn” inked into her upper back.

“It’s really nice,” Beckham said. “It’s really nice having a best friend, always.”

Well, isn’t that just the sweetest thing.
