If you’re still thinking about Blake Lively’s transformative Met Gala gown from Monday night’s festivities, so are we. And on Wednesday evening, the actress gave fans another dose of her “more is more” fashion ethos, by sharing a peek at the outfit she wore to a pre-Met party on Sunday night.

Before owning the 2022 Met Gala red carpet on Monday night in an Atelier Versace gown inspired by her love of New York City, Lively hit a “night before” party in an inventive two-in-one Thom Browne creation.

Attending Anna Wintour’s exclusive pre-Met Ball soirée in the Big Apple, Lively’s asymmetrical frock featured a long-sleeve silver sequin gown on one side, and a sleeveless pinstripe suit and tie on the other. She also wore a long vest with pinstripes on one side and floral embroidery on the other.

She struck a few poses in her living room modeling the outfit writing on Instagram, “Let’s take it back to the ‘night before’ party. A little hint of things to come🗽 thanks to Thom Browne. Yes I took these on a self timer bc everyone was asleep when I got home at 9. Sorry outfit. You deserved better.”

Lively’s signature golden tresses were styled in loose, beach waves to accompany her minimalist makeup.

She also shared a slew of behind-the-scenes pics from the Met on her Instagram Story, including a glimpse at her final fitting and a snap of her “practicing” the red carpet reveal on the Met staircase as Anna Wintour looked on.

Her post-Met look also didn’t disappoint, when she stepped out after the Gala in a red and black beaded, corseted mini dress to attend an afterparty at the Standard Hotel.
