Met Gala After-Party
Tom Ford and Karlie Kloss

The fashion set didn’t seem to lack any energy when it came to celebrating the 2022 Met Gala last night. After attending the prestigious gala, A-list stars hopped around to different parties in the city — but not without a quick outfit change first.

The Gala’s dress code may have been “Gilded Glamour” to match the theme of the new exhibition, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” but after the sun went down, celebrities stripped out of their gilded corsets for more dance floor-appropriate options.

Supermodels Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci hosted a star-studded bash at Casa Cipriani. Cardi B took over the Boom Boom Room for a late-night fête, which also served as a birthday celebration for Donatella Versace. At the same time, Instagram brought out all the fashionable influencers to a chic, uptown parlor-style venue where singer SZA took the stage with Anderson.Paak performing some of her hit songs. Those who still had the energy ended their night (or started their morning, no judgment) at LaQuan Smith’s bash, 101 floors in the air at The Edge in Hudson Yards.

ICYMI, here’s a recap of all the post-Met Gala afterparty festivities.

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell Afterparty at Casa Cipriani

Met Gala After-Party
Bella Hadid

No one knows a party better than Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. The two came together with Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci to continue the celebration into the late hours of the night. The event drew out the likes of Bella Hadid (who changed into a risqué lingerie afterparty look), Billie Eilish, Vanessa Hudgens, Cara Delevingne, Ansel Elgort, Jared Leto, Leonardo DiCaprio, Irina Shayk, Nicki Minaj, Winnie Harlow, Moss’ daughter Lila and many more. The party started at 11 and featured a performance by rapper SAINt JHN.

Tom Ford’s Intimate Soirée at The Carlyle

Met Gala After-Party
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz

Tom Ford’s intimate soirée on the Upper East Side may have been the most exclusive invite of the night. Many guests including Evan Mock, Hailey Bieber, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Stromae seemingly didn’t want to miss any moment of the party because they headed straight over from the museum in their red carpet looks. Only Karlie Kloss and newlyweds Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, seemed to slip into something a bit more colorful and comfy.

Cardi B x Playboy Magazine Afterparty at Boom Boom Room

Met Gala After-Party
Cardi B

Cardi B and Playboy came together to throw a bash at the nightlife hotspot the Boom Boom Room on Top of the Standard. A-listers including Billie Eilish (who swapped her “regencycore” gown for a Matrix-inspired ‘fit), Finneas, Normani, Dove Cameron, Alicia Keys, Brooklyn Beckham, and more. There was also a crowd of top designers including Oscar de la Renta’s Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, Marc Jacobs, and Donatella Versace.  Cardi B celebrated Donatella’s big night by singing “Happy Birthday” to the designer (while wearing a second Versace look for the night) as waiters brought out a cake.

Instagram Afterparty at James B. Duke House

Met Gala After-Party
SZA

Located in a former mansion just a few blocks from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Instagram’s party was a first stop for many. Following a performance by Lenny Kravitz and Kacey Musgraves inside the Gala, guests were treated to a performance from SZA who opted to go casual after hitting the red carpet in custom Vivienne Westwood couture and put on a show in sweats. A DJ set from Anderson Paak kept the party going all night long. A fashion crowd, including Aquaria, Chloe Wise, Ellen von Unwerth, Awkwafina, Wendi Murdoch, Schiaparelli’s Daniel Roseberry, Batsheva Hay, Aurora James, Susan Alexander, and more, were fused with a young crowd of Gen Z influencers dancing the night away to Paaks’ beats.

LaQuan Smith, The Edge

La La Anthony

A LaQuan Smith party always feels like you’re partying with close friends with the designer’s intimate set-ups. Celebs and friends of Smith, including Teyana Taylor, Duckie Thot, Bridgerton‘s Lucien Laviscount, Ashton Sanders, and La La Anthony (who changed out of her regal gown for a skin-baring “naked dress”) made their way up to the 101th floor at The Edge in Hudson Yard to celebrate the American designer. In partnership with spirit brand Rémy Martin, drinks were flowing throughout the night.
