After three months of dating, Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford have broken up. Just in time for Eilish to have a hot girl summer, her rep confirmed Page Six that after seven months of dating the The Neighbourhood frontman, the pair have decided to break up.

“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends,” the rep said, ensuring to shut down any speculation that there was cheating involved in the split at the same time.

“All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single.”

Rutherford and Eilish, who were first photographed holding hands over Halloween in October of 2022, were most recently seen together at Coachella in mid-April. Eilish also included Rutherford in her gallery of family Easter photos earlier that month, too.

Eilish confirmed her relationship publicly for the first time in October when she told Vanity Fair about her relationship status in her annual interview video with the magazine.

At the time, she joked about scoring her dream guy, saying, “Yeah, I do [have a boyfriend now]. And it’s really cool, and I’m really excited, and I’m really happy about it. I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f**king f**ker alive, but pulled his ass. Are you kidding me? Can we just — round of applause for me? Thank you. Jesse Rutherford, everyone! I pulled his ass — all me! I did that s**t. I locked that motherf**ker down.”

Eilish went on to speak more about what she’s attracted to in a partner, saying that being inspired by them is “really important.”

“My whatever they say — love language — is just physical touch,” she began. “I just need to be touching skin all the time. Touching and cuddling and hugging and anything skin-related is really a big thing for me. And other than that, just like, freedom. You know, I don’t wanna be controlled. I wanna be trusted, and I wanna be able to have space, and I want love and attention, and equal admiration is really important. I just am really inspired by this person [Rutherford], and you know, he’s inspired by me. It’s really cool.”
