Beyoncé famously keeps things under-wraps until just the right time that she wants to do a big reveal. Four days after she and husband Jay-Z hosted a star-studded Oscars afterparty, she finally shared photos of her looks from the night.
The superstar posted a carousel of images on Instagram dripping in a gold, high-shine (or shall we say blindingly bright) Dolce&Gabbana gown. The high-neck, long-sleeve number was entirely embroidered with Swarovski crystals. She also wore a metal molded corset belt with lock and key and accessorized with square gold sunglasses and crystal embellished double platform sandals (the latter of which was also from Dolce&Gabbana).
The super-sheer look was so see-through, that the singer added X-shaped pasties underneath her gown for modesty. The gown came was straight from the Italian brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 runway and was styled by KJ Moody who also shared the photos on Instagram writing, “SOLID GOLD 🏆.”
In some of the photos, Beyoncé cuddled up to Jay-Z in a loving embrace, and she also shared a close-up shot of her hubby’s jewelry, which included a gold watch and two statement rings.
In the final shot, she gave fans a glimpse of what may be her after-afterparty dress, when she switched into a gold strapless mini moment in Retrofête’s Sirena feather sequin dress (which actually is still available to shop so you should really scoop this up now).
The impressive couple have hosted an Oscars party in the past — in 2020, it was reported that they set it up like a “dive bar” to have guests feel casual. This year, while many stars first stopped by the Vanity Fair party, the likes of Rihanna, Kendall Jenner made it to Beyoncé’s bash. In fact, they made headlines when Rihanna completed a fourth outfit change of the night and Jenner was spotted leaving with rumored beau Bad Bunny.
We can always count on Beyoncé to keep things extremely glam and über-private.
