Hadid and stylist Law Roach made the 2022 Cannes Film Festival all about vintage looks. Hadid opted for a white Tom Ford-era Gucci long-sleeve boatneck gown with a side cutout linked with a silver metallic buckle from the Italian fashion house’s Fall/Winter 1996 ready-to-wear collection, wearing Chopard jewels for the premiere of Broker (Les Bonnes Etoiles).

Hadid went with a graphic black and white vintage Chanel creation from Sielian Vintage in West Hollywood to attend the “Chopard Loves Cinema” Gala dinner. The strapless gown features a striped full skirt, matching balloon sleeves, and topped off with a white flower on the bodice and bow in her hair.

Hadid attended the screening of The Innocent (L’Innocent) in an archival Versace gown designed by Gianni Versace for his Spring/Summer 1987 collection, courtesy of Roach. The black, form-fitting strapless gown cascaded into a mermaid silhouette, draped with a voluminous waist detailing which gathered into a lavish bow in the back.
According to Donatella Versace, “My brother Gianni designed this dress in 1987 for the opera Salomé at Teatro alla Scala in Milano.” She said, “It’s so wonderful to see beautiful Bella bringing it to life again with all the drama it deserves.”

Hadid donned yet another vintage Versace gown following the premiere for the “Cannes 75” anniversary dinner. This time, Hadid chose a design created by Donatella for the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2001 ready-to-wear collection, featuring long sleeves, a plunging neckline, pelvic cutouts and a camel brown leather cummerbund detailing.
