Beating the New York City heat (and the effects of climate change), model Bella Hadid was spotted out in NoHo wearing a daring sheer top baring her toned midriff on display for all to see. The model isn’t afraid to sport risqué fashions (remember the sexy cardigan trend?), but this recent look takes her affinity for Y2K style to new heights — while also keeping cool, both figuratively and literally.

The Kin Euphorics founder hit the city for a night out with friends pairing the sheer top embellished with a floral pattern with a pair of baggy pants, which is a recurring staple in her wardrobe. For accessories, she opted for a bandana around her head (very Y2K), a silver studded statement belt around her waist, a gold watch and chunky trainers. She finished it off with a patterned tote bag big enough for any essential the model would need throughout the night.

This sheer moment comes a few weeks after Hadid dialed back the clock further in time to the 1950s when she channeled her inner Sandy Olsson from the romcom Grease for a getaway in the south of France with beau Marc Kalman (who is rumored to be getting ready to pop the big question soon).

The look, which consisted of skin-tight pants, a belt and a strapless corset, had fans immediately recalling the scene when Sandy (played by Olivia Newton John in the 1978 classic), transforms her preppy ways and arrives to the carnival at the end of the film in a tight off-the-shoulder top and second skin satin pants. You know the scene.
