Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine‘s marriage was all over the tabloid headlines at the end of last year after model Sumner Stroh alleged on TikTok that the Maroon 5 frontman had an affair with her, something she announced while Prinsloo was pregnant with the couple’s third child.
To make matters worse, Stroh shared alleged messages from Levine wherein he said he wanted to name his soon-to-be-born child after her. (There were also numerous viral sexts which are too cringe to go into again.)
At the time, Prinsloo and Levine put on a united front with Levine releasing an apology to his family in a statement and the couple appearing in public holding hands days later.
Earlier this week, however, it appeared Levine was finally going to publicly speak about the cheating scandal for the first time.
In a new teaser clip shared by Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, which famously had Hailey Bieber speaking about her, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s love triangle last year, Cooper is seen addressing her guest, who isn’t pictured on camera.
In the preview, which naturally sent the internet wild, she says, “I have to tell you, I was a huge Maroon 5 fan and I’m glad that you agreed to sit down with me today and discuss the scandal surrounding the infidelity in your marriage.” Cooper then asked, “How many times did you cheat with women that you met on Instagram?”
Unfortunately for us, it was later revealed, Levine hasn’t sat down for the grilling he deserves, rather we were all completely trolled and it’s actually American actor Adam Devine as the episode’s guest. The only thing they pair share in common? Their names and the fact they both want to name their child Sumner, apparently.
“Just want to post this and say that my wife @chloebridges and I are doing great and going strong,” Devine wrote in an Instagram post alongside a photo with wife, Chloe Bridges. “I am not Adam Levine. He’s a different guy and a worse singer. We are however naming our future baby Sumner.”
As for Prinsloo’s response? She proved she was in on the joke — or at least, not publicly going to let the trolling get her down — commenting on the post with a simple, “LOL.”
