Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s romance has reached new heights: no, not a red carpet debut, nor an Instagram hard launch, but its immortalization in a song.
The model and musician have been spotted together on multiple occasions recently, including leaving Beyoncé and Jay Z’s Oscars afterparty together earlier this month. Though sources were speaking freely about Jenner “catching feelings” for the Puerto Rican rapper, until now neither Bad Bunny nor Jenner had confirmed they were dating.
Surprisingly, the first person to do so wasn’t Jenner in an episode of her family’s reality TV show, The Kardashians — where her older sister Kim Kardashian spoke in length about dating her ex, Pete Davidson — but Bad Bunny in his new song, where, not only does he allude to Jenner, but he seems to make a dig at her long-term ex-boyfriend, NBA player Devin Booker.
According to E! News, this translates to, “I’m not bad, baby that’s a gimmick / But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows it.” This is seemingly in reference to Booker playing NBA for the Phoenix Suns team.
The 29-year-old then goes on to say “las de escorpio son peligro,” which translates to, “Scorpio women are dangerous.” Jenner’s star sign? You guessed it.
Booker and Jenner called it quits last October after dating for close to three years. At the time, sources said the pair had conflicting work schedules but planned to stay in touch.
However, when Jenner was first spotted with Bad Bunny, Booker quietly unfollowed his ex on Instagram. We’d say he’s likely not too stoked about this latest development, either.
