Academy Award-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins just landed his latest role — and it’s the face of Spanish fashion brand Loewe.

In the new ads, the 84-year-old The Silence of the Lambs actor reps a vibrant donut-printed sweater, tailored trousers, and classic Flow sneakers, as he grins and casually points to his “Anagram” studded tote bag.

“I find him totally mesmerizing,” Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson told WWD. “He’s a true acting legend, of course, yet he was so gracious with us on set.” The designer went on to say how “honored” he was to have the esteemed actor included in the shoot, which was photographed by acclaimed photographer Juergen Teller and styled by Benjamin Bruno.

The brand tapped a multitude of other talented stars to join Hopkins in the campaign. The Lost Daughter actress Jesse Buckley, The Crown’s Josh O’Connor, model Kaia Gerber, 80-year-old artist Lynda Benglis, Japanese Paralympic athlete Maya Nakanishi, Chinese actress Tang Wei, and more rounded out the star-studded cast.

Hopkins shared a photo of the ad on his Instagram account writing, “For some fun, today’s gig is modeling @Loewe.”

Having recently modeled for Brioni and Loro Piana, Hopkins is the latest among Hollywood’s leading men to take their talents to the fashion space.

Actor Steve Buscemi was the face of Kith’s Spring 2022 campaign, and both Jeff Goldblum and Kyle MacLachlan walked in Prada’s Fall/Winter 2022 menswear runway show.
