The hottest new wave of male models are coming straight from Hollywood.

There’s a new trend popping up among high-fashion brands as they tap established, well-regarded A-list actors to star in editorials, runway shows and ad campaigns. Kyle MacLachlan and Jeff Goldblum both recently walked Prada’s Fall-Winter 2022 collection show in January. And now, favorite funnyman Steve Buscemi is the new face of Kith’s Spring 2022 campaign.

The brand shared images on Monday of the 64-year-old Emmy-winner posing in the latest looks from the brand while surrounded by an array of flowers. He models a cloud-printed jacket in one, and in another, wears a yellow letterman’s jacket.

He also wears a floral-print topper with a bucket hat in one scene, and strikes a Blue Steel pose in a red-accented crewneck sweater with reflective shades in another shot. The pieces he wears will be available on Friday at Kith shops and Kith.com.

Buscemi follows the recent trend of leading men leading the way in fashion. Just weeks ago Kyle MacLachlan opened the Prada Fall-Winter 2022 show at Milan Men’s Fashion Week in a black trench coat and blue jumpsuit. He was joined on the runway by a slew of other stars, including Jeff Goldblum (who is known to share his outfits of the day on Instagram), and up-and-coming actors Asa Butterfield, Damson Idris, Tom Mercier, Jaden Michael, Louis Partridge, Ashton Sanders, and Filippo Scotti.

We’re entering a new trend of Hollywood heavyweights stepping in as models, and we hope it doesn’t go anywhere anytime soon.
