Fashion darlings, actresses Alexa Demie and Taylor Russell, always know how to shut down a red carpet, and Monday night was no exception. Twinning in structural black ensembles, the two women imbued their own unique flair into their respective looks when they attended the French fine winery Moët & Chandon’s Holiday Season Celebration at New York City’s Lincoln Center.

The Euphoria actress tapped into her love for vintage fashion finds for the occasion, pulling out archival Alaïa from the house’s Spring/Summer 1992 collection. Demie wore a corseted long-sleeve peplum button-down top with a square neckline embellished with ultra-feminine white lace trim and a matching mermaid mid-length skirt, teamed with classic black Louboutin pumps. She flipped the ends of her short raven tresses and amped up the glamour with her signature glossy brown lined lip and posh stiletto French manicure.

Russell went intergalactic for the festive fête, opting for a spherical Schiaparelli ensemble from creative director Daniel Roseberry’s Spring/Summer 2022 Couture collection, styled by Ryan Hastings. The form-fitting off-the-shoulder mid-length frock featured sequin discs covering the neckline, arms and waist.

Also teamed with classic black Louboutin pumps, the latest Loewe ambassador completed her look with a blunt-cut bob with fringed bangs and a glowing glam look, topped off with a glossy bronzed lip.

The stylish pair met on set of the 2019 A24 film Waves and have been close friends ever since. “We’ve been best friends since we shot Waves together and having not only support by other women in the industry, but having a best friend who’s your age in the industry is the best thing you could ask for,” Russell told W Magazine. “We hold each other’s hands through a lot of it. We’re going through it together and I think we both help each other stay really present.”
