In typical Adele fashion, the soulful songstress took the 2022 Brit Awards by storm with three jaw-dropping designer looks, and proceeded to take home three impressive silver trophies.
Snagging the Brit Awards for Artist of the Year, British Album of the Year for her latest record 30, and Song of the Year for her hit single “Easy On Me,” the singer epitomized Old Hollywood glamour in timeless confections by Giorgio Armani, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Marianna Senchina. She walked the carpet in Armani Privé, then took to the stage to sing her hit, “I Drink Wine” in Valentino Haute Couture, and ended the night in the press room holding her silver statuettes in a mini Senchina dress.
Marking her first Brit Awards since 2016 and her debut appearance of 2022, Adele’s stylist Jamie Mizrahi has given us an inside peek behind-the-scenes on social media, posting everything from shoe picks, fitting photos, detail shots, and jewelry choices to her Instagram account.
With the off-the-shoulder neckline seeming to be Adele‘s new top choice, the star has recently rocked the silhouette in designer creations from Brock Collection, to Schiaparelli, Louis Vuitton, and Vivienne Westwood. Evoking unadulterated star style, Adele’s trio of high-fashion Brit Awards ensembles most definitely stole the show.
Here, GRAZIA USA digs a little deeper into Adele’s triad of Brit Award style moments.
Custom Giorgio Armani Privé

Sporting a classic black silk velvet fitted off-the-shoulder gown, clad with a plunging tulle trimmed neckline, Adele personified her superstar status. As the sequined black tulle scooped over her shoulders, the lavish material extended into a cascading back bow detail, only furthering the gown’s opulent charm.

Dripping in impressive Lorraine Schwartz jewels, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer accessorized with teardrop diamond earrings with a massive pear shaped diamond ring on her left hand, sparking a flurry of engagement rumors. Romantically linked to sports agent Rich Paul since early 2021, many are left speculating if her may have popped the question.

Valentino Haute Couture

Dressed to kill, Adele opted for a custom Valentino Haute Couture creation for her performance of “I Drink Wine” in London’s 02 Arena. The chiffon gown, fully embroidered in lime sequins came courtesy of the Italian fashion house’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Denoting an ethereal presence, the custom confection came equipped with an off-the-shoulder frill and billowing bishop sleeves. Pairing the gown with Valentino Garavani Rose Atelier Metallic Slingback Pumps, the star completed her show-stopping ensemble.
When discussing creating a gown fit for a musical performance, Piccioli said, “The final output has something magical: the dress resonates with the artist’s personality.“

The prolific designer went on to say, “Such enthusiasm made possible what, in the beginning, seemed just crazy. Green is her color. Not only is it perfect with her features, but it has a strength and a positive vibe that impeccably celebrates her voice. Nothing could make her energy irradiate more than those sequins, then, even from a screen.”
Marianna Senchina

Switching into the third of luxe ensembles, Adele opted for a Marianna Senchina mini dress to receive her awards. Keeping with the theme of off-the-shoulder dressing, the little black jacket-dress was paired with Jimmy Choo black pumps and House of Harlow custom earrings from her close friend Nicole Richie.
