Quinta Brunson
The Abbott Elementary star knew what she was after with her custom Dolce & Gabbana gown. “I really wanted something that made me feel ‘va va voom’ but also respectful,” she told E!. “I feel like I kind of have to do three jobs at once, actress, producer and writer, so it can be hard to find something that makes me feel comfortable being all three but also wearing something that makes me feel good and sexy and proud.” She added that she wanted “teeny, tiny Jessica Rabbit” vibes.
Zendaya
In another epic Emmys moment, Zendaya arrived in a strapless Valentino ballgown with bow-adorned peplum-style bodice and full ball skirt — complete with pockets! — paired with Bulgari jewels.
Sydney Sweeney
The night’s double-nominee for The White Lotus and Euphoria oozed elegance in a silver floral embroidered custom Oscar de la Renta gown with Fred Leighton jewels.
Lizzo

Elle Fanning
The Great actress wanted to pay homage to her Hulu show’s costume department, by wearing a dress created by costume designer Sharon Long and hand-crafted by Catherine Shaw.
“The Old Hollywood glamor of the ’50s and specifically when costume designers would design actresses gowns — like Edith Head would always design Grace Kelly’s Oscars dress. It’s so special and you can see that those dresses are made with love,” Fanning told E! on the carpet. “Once I got nominated I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing if [Sharon] designed my dress?'” The result was a strapless black gown with pink embellishment at the bust with a wraparound skirt with matching pink lining inside.
Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington rocked a white Elie Saab Haute Couture mini dress with feathery appliqués and extended full train, with black Wolford tights, Christian Louboutin pumps and Bulgari jewelry.

The star presented on stage with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short in a glam halter column gown with statement earrings.
