Aunque muchos festejan el gran paso de Disney al escoger a una actriz de color para ser Ariel en La Sirenita, otros no están tan contentos.
Ella es cantante de R&B y fue descubierta por Beyoncé. Halle Bailey se convirtió en la sensación de Twitter luego de que Disney confirmó su papel como Ariel en la próxima adaptación live-action de La Sirenita. A cargo de Rob Marshall, el nuevo filme también incluirá el talento de Awkwafina como Scuttle y Jacob Tremblay como Flounder.
Pero no todo ha sido completamente positivo. Aunque la comunidad de color festejó la inclusión a través de la elección de Bailey, hay otros que simplemente no imaginan a la princesa así.
