You’d be forgiven for thinking that the events of 2020 so far are in fact a glitch in The Matrix. However the star of the sci-fi franchise Keanu Reeves is single-handedly attempting to restore order by auctioning off a date with one lucky admirer.

As part of Idaho children’s cancer charity Camp Rainbow Gold, the actor is offering a 15-minute Zoom call to the highest bidder. Bidding is currently at US$16,000.

Your Zoom with Keanu must take place the week of 6 July 2020 and based on mutually available dates and times, but we’ve cleared the whole of the year for Keanu TBH.
