With the recent surge in coronavirus cases that has been witnessed in several European countries, and the new variant of the infectious virus documented in the UK, a number of countries have revisted lockdown restrictions and travel bans. Following the recent airport closures, ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced a free visa extension for all tourist currently in the UAE for the holidays. Tourist visas will be extended for one month, without any government fees imposed.
The UAE reopened its pearly gates to tourists back in July 2020, with stringent rules set in place to ensure the safety of all residents and tourists throughout the pandemic.
