With London Fashion Week and the BAFTAs taking place over the weekend pulling fashion lover’s attention toward the UK, we almost missed a red carpet moment from one of Hollywood’s most exciting young stars. Euphoria‘s Sydney Sweeney, who never shies away from having fun with her wardrobe, arrived at the Berlinale International Film Festival wearing a modern-day version of Jessica Rabbit’s famous red gown.

Arriving at the premiere of her upcoming film Reality on Saturday, which is centred around the true story of NSA whistleblower, Sweeney stole the show in a bright red rhinestone-covered custom-made Miu Miu gown.

Featuring a square neckline and spaghetti straps, the Old Hollywood-style dress hugged Sweeney’s figure with the addition of a dramatic train. Keeping her makeup natural and light for the occasion, Sweeney added a bright pink lip and rosy cheeks while parting her soft brunette hair in the middle and adding loose waves.

“Thank you to Miu Miu for creating a dress of my dreams 🥰,” the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram, adding a video to show the piece in all its sparkly glory:

Over the weekend, news broke of Sweeney’s new role alongside up-and-coming Italian actress Simona Tabasco, who starred in season two of The White Lotus, following Sweeney’s role in the hit HBO show’s first season.

The iconic duo – both of whom were cast in roles as smart, sassy and scheming young women in The White Lotus – will star opposite each other in a new upcoming psychological thriller.
