Just days after Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift were photographed together having dinner at New York City Italian hotspot Via Carota, the pair have been spotted together again, this time leaving a venue separately.
Turner, 27, has just split from her husband Joe Jonas, and it seems Swift, 33—also a fellow Joe Jonas ex—is lending a healing hand. The friendly duo were spotted leaving Hotel Barrière Fouquet in Greenwich on September 21. And we can’t even begin to imagine what their conversation would have been like.
Turner had just filed a petition in a Manhattan court this same day requesting the musician return their two children, three-year-old Willa and their youngest daughter (whose name hasn’t been publicly disclosed), to their home in England.
Turner has reportedly claimed that Jonas has wrongfully retained their children in the US, despite the agreement being that England would their “forever home”. The children moved to the US in August 2022 to be close to their father while Turner was shooting a film in Spain. (Photos of her on set kissing her co-star Sansa Stark sent the internet into a flurry this week.)
The suit also detailed how Turner found out that Jonas wished to dissolve their four-year marriage “through the media”.
Swift, in cinnamon tailored trousers, a black off-the-shoulder top and heels left Fouquet separately to Turner, with the Game Of Thrones star sporting a grey pencil skirt, white tee, red flats and a colourful Louis Vuitton bag. We look forward to more of these New York girls nights. Somehow it feels like the new “Please welcome to the stage” moment for Swift who, while on tour a few years back, would bring herds of famous girlfriends out on the stage where they would dance and sing together. Maybe some famous friends will begin to join. Gigi? Karlie?
