She then sat down to enjoy the performance by the students, where the union of the emirates were celebrated and included old videos of Sheikh Zayed and a tribute to the leadership of the Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

The students also performed a dance and songs which were inspired by the poems of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai. Namely, O My Country, Be in Peace by the Dubai Ruler and The Pride of the Generations by the emirate’s Crown Prince.

Sheikha Mahra also spent time one-on-one with some of the students of the centre. Also in attendance for the day of celebrations was His Highness Sheikh Juma bin Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum, as well as other dignitaries.
