There’s no slowing down for Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. Following their summer travels together, the pair have have been busy in Dubai with various ventures, as well as announcing the joyous news they are expecting their first child together.
But, the royal couple have managed to find the time to spend some quality time together, opting to go to one of Dubai’s most popular cafés, Cipriani Dolce.
Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana dine at Cipriani Dolci
Over the weekend, Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana passed by Cipriani Dolci, a chic Italian eatery, renowned for its desserts and coffee. The couple indulged some dessert, perhaps some pistachio ice-cream, and, of course, come Italian coffee.
The dining concept is relatively new to the emirate, first opening in The Dubai Mall in 2021, followed by its Mall of the Emirates location in 2022. Its fine-dining counterpart Cipriani has been a firm favourite on the DIFC dining scene for a number of years.
Just like many members of the Dubai royal family, the pair are partial to dining at an array of food havens in the emirate. Earlier this year, Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana paid a visit to Dubai Mall, opting to dine at Novikov Café located in the heart of Fashion Avenue.
Sheikha Mahra’s dedication to philanthropy
Sheikha Mahra’s weekend treat comes after a busy week.
On Thursday, the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the Rashid Centre for People of Determination, on one of her most recent outings, which was her first since announcing her pregnancy announcement.
She spent time with several of the centre’s children. The Dubai royal engaged in a range of activities with many of the students including painting, playing instruments and trying food prepared by the students.
Sheikha Mahra & Sheikh Mana’s First Child
On October 18th, 2023, the Dubai princess announced the exciting news she was pregnant. Posting a picture of an ultrasound scan to Instagram Stories, Her Highness captioned the photo, tagging her husband Sheikh Mana and writing, “Just the three of us.”
The joyous news of a new addition to their family comes after Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana married earlier this year.
The pair celebrated their Katb Al-Kitab, the customary Islamic wedding ceremony and signing of the marriage contract, back in April, followed by a grandiose wedding ceremony at the end of May.
