Members of the Dubai royal family – including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – are no stranger to visiting various restaurants around the emirate, consistently showing support for the local F&B industry.
The latest royal outing was by none other than royal newlyweds Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of the Dubai Ruler, and His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.
Paying a visit to Dubai Mall, the royal couple opted to dine at Novikov Café located in the heart of Fashion Avenue.
Known as an all-day dining spot in Dubai Mall, Novikov is known for its traditional Mediterranean with a touch of Asian and Italian influences.
As well as dishing up a host of delectable dishes, the restaurant also houses an expansive terrace overlooking the spectacular Dubai Fountain. It’s no doubt an ideal spot for dining out in the UAE winter to witness the fountain show up close.
The couple shared a few snippets of their visit to Novikov Café with their Instagram followers, posting a photo of themselves in front of the restaurant, as well as video of the view of the Dubai Mall from the terrace.

Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana celebrated their Katb Al-Kitab, the traditional Islamic wedding ceremony and signing of the marriage contract, back in April followed by lavish wedding ceremony at the end of May.

Sharing a series of photos on social media, the royal bride stunned in a custom wedding gown made by Ezra Couture, a Dubai-based designer. The ceremony took place at Saeed Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Dubai princess also shared a video recapping the wedding, which gave followers a closer look at all the intimate details of the day.
