Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is regularly seen out and about in Dubai, but this weekend proved to be particularly busy for the UAE royal.
The 30-year-old Emirati princess, who is expecting her first child with her husband, His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, made a couple of public appearances this weekend with her mother, Zoe Grigorakos. Firstly, at the Dubai World Cup, which took place on Saturday, and then at popular Dubai-based Greek restaurant Nammos.

While the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is moving closer giving birth to her baby girl, the princess shows no signs of slowing down as she takes on the city with her mum.
Sheikha Mahra attends the Dubai World Cup
Starting of at the insidiously glamorous Dubai World Cup, the Sheikha spent some time honouring her equestrian roots at the Meydan Racecourse. Her father’s well-documented love for stallions clearly rubbing off on her, she posted a carousel of imagery from her derby experience.
Accompanied by her beloved mother, Sheikha Mahra posed seated in front of a rose filled wall in the leading picture.
Both in pink, the princess had a lively pink silk gown with draping sleeves and crystalised belt that loosely hugged her waist. Her mum on the other hand wore a feathered evening gown in a more subdued rosy shade.
Looking ever-so stunning, both women got to enjoy a weekend of stallion galloping and dashing in the crisp open air. As if the intense horse racing wasn’t enough, the Dubai World cup also elevated their entertainment offerings with a mesmerising drone show. From the majestic trophy the to the all-encompassing logo, Sheikha Mahra added some pictures from this weekend’s record-breaking light show to her multi-photo post.
Sheikha Mahra dines at Nammos in Dubai
On Sunday, Her Highness and her mother then paid a visit to the much-loved Greek restaurant Nammos. While she holds her Emirati roots proudly the princess would’ve indulged in the cuisine of her mum’s Greek roots at this Mykonos inspired location.
Dressed in a printed kaftan, the expectant mum showed off her growing baby bump in photos she shared to Instagram.
The Emirati princess is due to give birth imminently. Sheikha Mahra announced her pregnancy back in October. The Dubai royal and her husband announced the joyous news on Instagram sharing a photo of an ultrasound on Instagram stories. “Just the three of us,” Sheikha Mahra captioned the photo, tagging Sheikh Mana who re-shared it.
Then, to mark her 30th birthday in February, Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana hosted a gender reveal party, announcing they were expecting a baby girl.
