Conveniently held during the Saudi Founding Day long weekend, this illustrious affair will have the region – and the world – truly captivated. As Saudi Arabia explores its horse-related cultural identity, it continues to position itself as a key hub within the equestrian realm.
Its grandiose venue – the King Abdulaziz Racecourse – is only the beginning of the astounding makings of the competition. Securing its biggest prize sum yet, the Saudi Cup 2024 prize pot sits at upwards of 35 million US dollars. A clean upgrade of over USD 15 million from last year.
While the long weekend is gearing up to be a spirited occasion, the Saudi Cup adds to the energy with its line-up of competitions. As it stands, around 16 races are set to take place, with growing prize pots of millions dedicated to the races.
