It’s safe to say the first Riyadh Fashion Week has been a success – and the FROW has certainly delivered in the style stakes.
The four-day event, hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission, took place from October 20 to October 23, 2023. It showcased an excellent lineup of Saudi brands, with Ashi Studio’s opening the entire fashion spectacle on Friday. Representing a significant historical turning point it is the first fashion week to be held in Saudi Arabia.
While the shows have delivered in creativity and excellence, so did the many famous faces attending. With that, GRAZIA brings you some of the best-dressed Arab celebrities spotted at Riyadh Fashion Week.
Karen Wazen
Dubai-based Lebanese entrepreneur and influencer, Karen Wazen, made an appearance at Riyadh Fashion Week and donned an all-black ensemble with gold details.
Twins Hadban
Emirati twins, Mohammed & Humaid, models and influencers, showed up and ‘twinned’ in a twist on a classic suit with yellow button-up jackets on suit pants and a shirt and tie combo underneath.
Nour Arida
Lebanese fashion blogger and entrepreneur, Nour Arida, wore a black dress with a voluminous shape detail and paired it with sandal heels.
Dana Hourani
Dana Hourani, Lebanese singer and visual artist, stunned in a lilac off-shoulder flowy gown with a one-arm glove detail.
Halima
The gorgeous Halima Aden wore this patterned dress and paired it with matching black gloves and a black hijab at Riyadh Fashion Week.
Maryam M Salman
Maryam M Salman, a fashion content creator based between Riyadh and Doha, turned heads at RFW as she wore an all-red ensemble and paired it with a metallic Dior bag.
Yara Alnamlah
Saudi entrepreneur Yara Al Namlah graced Riyadh Fashion Week in a glamourous all-black outfit.
Zozo
Zozo, a Fashion influencer donned an all-black dress with feather detailing and paired it with lime green crystal-embellished heels.
Eleen Suliman
Eleen Suliman, a Saudi beauty and fashion blogger, wore a dazzling sequined dress by Esposa and statement earrings by Yessayan Jewellery at Riyadh Fashion Week.
Rahaf Alharbi
Rahaf Alharbi, the first Miss Saudi Arabia, wore a white evening gown with embroidered details by Shouq Almubarak and accessorized with Mouawad jewellery to complete the ensemble.
Nada Baeshen
Renowned Saudi TV host Nada Baeshen attended Riyadh Fashion Week in an electric blue gown by Arab label Monot. She expressed her pride in the Kingdom on the launch of the first Riyadh Fashion Week. “I am very happy to witness today in my homeland an event close to my heart and the hearts of many Riyadh Fashion Week,” she said. “Previously we travelled to attend such events, but today everyone travels to my homeland to attend and watch the creative designers of the country.”
