Sound the alarm because Rihanna is in the house, more specifically, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where the 80th annual Golden Globes are being held this evening. With a nomination to her name we had expected to see the Rihanna walk the red carpet and while a single Getty Image is yet to be seen, the “Love On The Brain” singer is looking as glamorous as ever.
Via the broadcast and fan videos posted to Twitter, Rihanna was first spotted at her table alongside A$AP Rocky and in deep conversation with Ryan Coogler. Her hair was twisted into an elaborate up-do while the ensemble consisted of a black velvet strapless gown, opera gloves and plenty of glittering diamonds. Rocky wore a classic double-breasted suit and a black tie.

It seems her fellow guests were excited by her presence with Jerrod Carmichael spotlighting the star in his opening monologue saying, “no rush on that album!”. Rihanna released her first single “Lift Me Up” following the birth of her baby boy (the couple haven’t announced a name yet) in late 2022 for the soundtrack to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song is nominated in the category for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture alongside tracks from Taylor Swift for Where the Crawdads Sing and Lady Gaga for Top Gun: Maverick.
Rihanna is certainly a favourite and is dressed to win at that, more details on her look are coming soon so stay tuned.
It’s already proving to be a huge year for the artist and on February 12 she will return to the stage to headline the Super Bowl Halftime show. Naturally, it will coincide with a Super Bowl x Fenty collaboration which was revealed earlier this month. The move was considered surprising given her past criticism on the NFL which saw the singer decline to perform in 2019.
