June 1st 2023 will go down in history books as the day the future King and Queen of Jordan, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif were wed. Briefly after the Islamic wedding ceremony, known as the Katb Ktab, the Royal Decree issued a statement whereby the new bride was given a new title, as Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein. For the ceremony, which took place at Zahran Palace and saw the bride walk down the aisle escorted by His Royal Highness Prince Hashem, the groom’s younger brother, she opted for an exquisite modern bridal gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. However, it as only fitting that the new Princess had changed into a second gown for the official wedding reception, which saw 1,700 guests in attendance at Al Husseiniya Palace.

For her second look, the bride was dressed in a custom Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda ballgown by none other than Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The gown featured layered and embroidered floral-like patterns across the entire design, with a deep neckline. Princess Rajwa styled the feminine fit with a custom tiara that was engraved in Arabic “Tajwatum min Allah,” translating to “Hope in God,” as Rajwa’s name is also a synonym for hope.

This round, Princess Rajwa styled her hair in a simple up do and wore the same stunning diamond earrings she wore to the ceremony earlier. She also wore a pair of silk opera gloves, a bold choice for the future Queen of Jordan.

Her Majesty Queen Rania also showed off an outfit change, opting for a earthy nude Elie Saab couture gown with a cape and golden embroidery down the hems and on the bustier.
