Amidst a no-doubt hectic schedule of live interviews and official meetings, Queen Rania made sure to make some time to visit her youngest daughter, Princess Salma.

Documenting the sweet stop, the Jordanian queen shared a quick post of the royal mother-daughter duo via Instagram. “The highlight of my trip!” she captioned the loving picture, adding: “Love spending time with my Salma.”

Looking sleek and professional, both stunning women affectionately embraced one another in the image. Wearing an ivory-toned two-piece, Queen Rania had on a cropped blazer with some high-waisted dress pants. While Princess Salma, a recent Archaeology graduate, smiled in a dark-wash buttoned denim skirt and a slightly puffy short-sleeved black button-down.

Armed with a degree from the University of Southern California, the Jordanian royals had also been in Los Angeles this time last year to celebrate Princess Salma’s graduation.

With a high school degree from her mother’s school to a bachelor’s degree from one of the world’s best institutions, Princess Salma continues on her enriching upward trajectory with her mother’s unwavering support not too far out of reach.

Queen Rania’s trip to the USA

This year’s timely visit came under the slew of prime-time interviews Queen Rania has been delivering in the States. Flying between New York and California, Her Majesty continues to make her stance on calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza starkly clear.

“What’s happening in Gaza today… is a war crime” she stated while on MSNBC’s leading segment The ReidOut. “The collective punishment of people, the displacement of 1.7 million people, the fact that out of 35,000 people killed 75% are women and children.

“There is outrage around the world, but there is also outrage at the world’s apathy… the fact that this is even allowed to happen.”

And while her hard-hitting statement made some waves on social media, this is not the first time the beloved Arab royal used her voice in support of Palestine.

“We need a ceasefire,” she firmly stated during her Web Summit Qatar speech in February 2024. “A cease to the destruction… A cease to the displacement… A cease to the deprivation by design.”

As noted in her Instagram bio, the Jordanian royal views her role as a mum and a leading Arab queen with equal importance. Sketching out time in her official duty calendar, Queen Rania visits the current abode of Princess Salma as she continues lending her voice to the Palestinian devastation.
