Tom Holland and Zendaya‘s real life romance has garnered a captive audience of fans (us included) since they were caught kissing at a red light all those months ago. Apparently the couple’s fan base also extends to royalty with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly contacting the pair out of the blue one day to organise a super secret meeting.

According to a source for the Daily Maildescribed as one of Harry’s old friends’ – Holland and Zendaya were taken quite aback by the call.

“Tom and Zendaya were rather bemused, from what I hear,’ the insider told the news outlet. “Tom had never met Harry or spoken to him in his life, so didn’t know what they wanted.”

The reporter did not divulge what the meeting was about but suggested, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “may have hoped to persuade [Tom and Zendaya] to take part in one of their media projects.”

Whatever it is, we can’t wait to find out!

Since exiting the Royal Family and moving to California, Prince Harry and Markle have kept themselves extremely busy with several ventures including a children’s book, a million-dollar Spotify deal, Apple TV+ docuseries with Oprah Winfrey as well as appearances for an array of important humanitarian causes. The couple also run the Archewell Foundation.

The Duke and Duchess flooded headlines last week after they expressed concern for COVID-19 misinformation running rife of Spotify. They joined a number of A-listers who have put pressure on the platform for The Joe Rogan Experience podcast which often spreads inaccurate claims about vaccines and the pandemic.

“Last April, our co-founders began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about the all too real consequences of COVID-19 misinformation on its platform,” an Archewell spokesperson said in a statement via CNN. “We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis.”
