Presenting an enchanting once-in-a-lifetime evening at Dubai Design District, Panthère de Cartier ‘Into the Wild’ celebrations painted the district in their signature red hue as they gave homage to Panthère’s timeless symbol of power and femininity.

“Being a hub where design, art, and fashion converge, it is a great honour for us to host Into the Wild at d3. Seeing our creative realms intermingle on this night has been a true joy, as we witness the interplay of different disciplines and the beauty that arises from their fusion,” stated Khadija Al Bastaki, Executive Director of d3.

The guests of the French Maison were bewitched in a truly immersive experience as Panthère de Cartier transported them through the wonders of La Panthère’s universe, captivating their senses and leaving them spellbound.

Saudi filmmaker Fatima Al-Benawi, Egyptian veteran star Youssra, Lebanese actress Razane Jammal, Egyptian model and actress Tara Emad, Tunisian actor Dhaffer L’Abidine, Egyptian Tunisian actress Hend Sabri, Emirati host Anas Bukhash, Somali model Rawdah Mohamed and more friends of the Maison walked the alluring runway in four exquisite acts wearing the signature panther pieces. This iconic panther motif originated during the tenure of Maison’s first female artistic director Jeanne Toussaint in 1914.

In the first act, the seductive vocals of Ella Fitzgerald and Grace Jones conjured up the mood of Paris in the 1920s, and the classic buildings of the city were depicted on screens all around the stage. The audience was captivated by dancers wearing period costumes as the objects of desire created under Toussaint’s progressive direction were showcased. As the music reached a crescendo, actors Hend Sabri, Dhafer L’Abidine, and Fatima Al Banawi emerged paying tribute to Toussaint’s visionary spirit and the enduring legacy of her designs.

“Jeanne Toussaint, a visionary and trailblazer, was the driving force behind the creation of the Maison’s emblematic Panthère. It is with immense pride that we shared the stories of these two icons with our community today,” expressed Sophie Doireau, CEO of Cartier Middle East, India, and Africa.

The captivating Panthère has influenced Cartier’s cutting-edge craftsmanship since its inception as they continually reinvent the motif in naturalist, sculptural, and graphic interpretations. Heralding its many transformations through the years, the second act of Panthère de Cartier displayed Maison’s unparalleled savoir-faire through projections of iconic Panthère jewellery pieces. Supermodel Farida Khelda, award-winning film producer Dorra Bouchoucha and her daughter, Kenza Fourati, a model and shoe designer, emphasised the creative dynamism of the panther designs on stage as dancers adorned in feline-inspired costumes took to the stage.
