Back for the second and third year, the MDLBEAST XP Music conference and killer music festival, SOUNDSTORM, are taking over Riyadh at the end of 2022.

What is the MDLBEAST XP music conference?

If you weren’t familiar with the MDLBEAST XP music conference, we’ll break it down for you. The event is an opportunity for professionals from the music industry that seek inspiration and opportunities to come together for workshops, discussions, networking, and an exciting nightlife activation.

The conference is basically an induction for the bigger event– the three-day music festival, SOUNDSTORM. The staple Saudi event will take place from the 28th to the 30th of November.

The Strategy Director at MDLBEAST, Nada Alhelabi, said: “XP is one of the main pillars of MDLBEAST as it aims at empowering the local scene, and develop talents in music, art, & culture and technology. Through XP we are able to promote the region and accelerate positive change in diversity and gender equality through advocacy groups, research, and knowledge-led insights. We can take things to the next level through the second edition of the XP Music Conference.”

Global artists such as Steve Aoki and Afrojack held discussions and gave attendees insight on their success stories, how to develop yourself within the music industry and how to stand out.

The 2021 rendition of MDLBEAST’s SOUNDSTORM saw killer performances from international superstars like Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Jason Derulo, Future, David Guetta and so much more.

Not to mention the attendance of a number of Arab stars that performed their hit singles alongside our international stars. Over 730,000 attendees enjoyed music from over 180 performances around the festival.

Other than the inclusion of international superstars, the festival’s platform also promoted local talents. It provided an outlet for local talent to “feel the rush of performing on the biggest stages”, as stated by the MDLBEAST team.

The SOUNDSTORM festival will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of December.

Keep an eye out for the list of performers and tickets.
