By now you would have witnessed Kim Kardashian‘s massive Saturday Night Live debut. The reality star descended into New York City at the weekend dressed as if she was living a pink fever dream – courtesy of Demna Gvasali of Balenciaga, of course. It came as no surprise that the Barbie-esque theme continued throughout her appearance in Manhattan.
Following her national television appearance, Kardashian stepped out for the SNL afterparty in a full-length catsuit in the same bubblegum pink hue. For further sartorial drama, the 40-year-old dragged a voluminous feather-esque coat around her shoulders. Big Bird could never.

The afterparty took place at the private members’ club, Zero Bond. Kris Jenner who also made a cameo appearance in the recent SNL episode was in attendance as well as Khloé Kardashian, a recently single Scott Disick and Corey Gamble. Other stars also included La La Anthony, Chase Crawford, Rami Malek, Gayle King, Blake Griffin and SNL producer Lindsay Shookus.
According to Page Six, the socialite’s former husband Kanye West had travelled to NYC to help Kardashian prepare for hosting the show. “Kim is nervous about hosting ‘SNL.’ It’s a big challenge but she is determined to be a success,” a source told the publication. “Kanye is quietly advising her on her performance, her opening monologue, even her costumes for the show.”

The rapper however was nowhere to be seen at the afterparty. Although we can imagine (spoiler alert) that he may not have be impressed by the kiss Kardashian shared with SNL lead, Pete Davidson.
Kardashian also wore Balenciaga to the Met Gala last month in similar fashion. The black skin-tight catsuit was layered with a t-shirt dress and she wore a hood that covered her face. BDSM chic if you ask us.

Now taking bets for her next Balenciaga look.
