On the May 27 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed she and her four children, North , Psalm, Chicago and Saint all battled COVID-19 in late 2020. A report then suggested the reality star contracted the illness during her controversial 40th birthday celebration on a private island. Kardashian was swift to respond.

“False. Nobody caught Covid from the trip,” the beauty mogul replied on Twitter. “Saint was the first to have it in our family and he caught it from school from another student who tested positive first. I then developed symptoms and got it a few days after he coughed on me while caring for him.”

Speaking to GRAZIA in October, Kardashian revealed her former husband, Kanye West, first contracted the virus in the very early days of the pandemic.

“Kanye had it way at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on,” she said. “It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no-one else in the house to help. I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good. It was a challenge because it was so unknown. Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time.”

During the same KUWTK episode Kardashian revealed she failed the “baby bar”, a first-year law exam. It was later revealed on Twitter by the 40-year-old she was battling the COVID-19 symptoms when taking the exam.

“No excuses!!! I took the bar with COVID!!! I almost passed out after hour 4, but I still did it!”, Kardashian posted to social media.

This month Salma Hayek revealed she too contracted a near-fatal case of coronavirus.

“My doctor begged me to go to the hospital because it was so bad,” Hayek said. “I said, ‘No, thank you. I’d rather die at home.’”

Elsewhere, Kardashian’s sister Khloé also contracted the illness as well as Gwyneth Paltrow, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks.
