It wouldn’t be New York Fashion Week without a front row appearance from one of the city’s most beloved street style celebrities: Katie Holmes.
The actress, whose outfits on the streets of the Big Apple have gone viral multiple times in recent years (a moment of silence for that Khaite cardigan moment), has been favouring boho pieces recently, opting for floaty dresses, prints and baggy jeans to go alongside her new nose ring and co-ordinating perfectly with her stylish musician boyfriend, Bobby Wooten II.
To sit front row at Ulla Johnson’s spring/summer 2023 runway show, Holmes brought boho chic to NYFW, wearing a floral patterned maroon, orange, and purple look made up of layered pieces from the brand’s autumn/winter 2022 collection.
At first glance, it appears Holmes is wearing a long-sleeve dress, but in actuality, the look was made up of three (or four?) different contrasting pieces by Ulla Johnson, including a long-sleeved red turtleneck top with a white marbled pattern, paired with a long, high-waisted skirt in a similar purple-and-orange floral print, and asymmetric ruffles in a geometric orange-and-black pattern.
Holmes added another printed crop top over her turtleneck and paired the outfit with black on-trend knee-high heeled boots and a matching black bag with gold hardware.
Wearing her brunette hair in its signature loose waves, and adding two silver bangles to her wrists, all in all, this was another winning outfit formula. But would we expect anything else?
