The glamorous Cannes Film Festival, while a celebration of new film, is often the destination for beautiful women like Bella Hadid and Georgia Fowler. Fellow model Jeanne Cadieu was also a guest at the annual event this week and posed on the red carpet prior to the screening of The Innocent overnight. For her debut to Cannes she was joined by beau, Jake Gyllenhaal.
Cadieu opted for a campy Loewe Fall 2022 gown by Jonathan Anderson which featured lips to form the bust and a sleek column skirt in a hot pink hue paired with silver heels – the same she wore on the runway for the same collection. Gyllenhaal cut a classic double-breasted suit.
The 26-year-old is best known for walking runway shows for Loewe, Stella McCartney and most recently, Valentino. The couple have been dating since early 2018 after they were spotted in Europe together. The relationship was confirmed by Us Weekly in December the same year. They share a 16-year age difference and kept their romance quiet until they made their red carpet debut at Maggie Gyllenhaal’s red carpet premiere of The Lost Daughter in September 2021.
Cadieu and Gyllenhaal have only been photographed hand-in-hand just two other times, at the Paris premiere of Ambulance in March and again at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty one week later where the model also wore Loewe.
When Taylor Swift’s scathing hit “All Too Well” was released earlier this year to fans trolling the actor on Instagram, Cadieu remained silent and has never address the controversy surrounding the former couple.
