Calling all students and especially the graduates who have just entered the ‘real-world:’ job hunting has always been daunting, and that has multiplied immensely due to the repercussions caused by the pandemic. If you are among the stressed-out graduates looking for employment, look no further. ITP Media Group and NEOM are back again with their graduate program, after a very triumphant launch last year. The collaborative programme has been devised to enhance the learning of 35 students in digital journalism, podcasting, story telling and other aspects that are prevalent in the digital age.

The students will under-go a four-week training period, and the top-performers will get a chance to partake in a paid six-month apprenticeship at the ITP Media Group Headquarters in Riyadh. The students will get a chance to work under renowned names in the industry including, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Timeout among other publications. Additionally, upon succession those who perform remarkably, will get full-time opportunities at any of the ITP offices around the globe.

The Managing Director of ITP, Martin Chambers has expressed “ITP Media Group is always on the lookout for the next generation of media talent, thought leaders and trend-shapers. Our brands are only as dynamic and relevant as the teams working on them, which is why our business consistently looks to the next generation as drivers of evolution and innovation in the ever-changing future of our industry. Long term, these internship programmes have the power to help us identify, encourage and empower the next generation of media leaders, both in the region and globally.” Following Chamber’s statement, the Executive Director of ITP Media Saudi, Majed Telmesani has shared “As the first private media company to establish itself in the Kingdom, developing Saudi talent has always been a significant part of our corporate objectives. It is important that our youth see and hear themselves represented in the content we create for them – helping to develop the voices that will power that representation for years to come is vital in our mission to make Saudi’s media industry one of the most evolved and competitive in the world.”
