Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a woman who wears many hats.

As well as being a pioneer in the arts and culture space in Dubai, she is an incredibly dedicated mother. The UAE sheikha has four children with her husband, Sheikh Faisal bin Saudi Al Qassimi – Mohammed, Shaikha, Hamdan and Hind.

Bringing her family together over the weekend, including her father,  His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, there was calls for a celebration, for young Shaikha’s third birthday.

A family celebration: Sheikha Latifa’s daughter’s birthday

At an intimate at home celebration, the family gathered to celebrate Shaikha’s 3rd birthday.

Wearing a fuchsia floral-printed jalabiya, Shaikha was spotted grinning and cuddling up to her grandfather, Sheikh Mohammed, in a picture shared by Sheikha Latifa. Her brother, Mohammed bin Faisal also gave him a tender embrace.

The doting mother captioned the photo, saying, “Happiest third birthday my princess Shaikha, I love you with all my heart.”

It was a birthday celebration abundant with love. Her Highness’ husband Sheikh Faisal reshared the image on Instagram with the caption, “Happiest 3rd birthday my princess Shaikha, May you be well with every passing year.”

The sheikha added another picture of her daughter playing with stuffed animal toys to her story. She captioned it, “My heart, Sheikha of all girls.”

Her recent contribution to the palestinian cause

The weekend prior, Sheikha Latifa stepped out to support the UAE’s Tarahum for Gaza campaign.

Attending a community event in Dubai, she spoke with several volunteers and assisted in packing a number of relief packages for the people in Gaza.

Her Highness also brought her eldest five-year-old son, Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi.

The Sheikha is the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority‘s Chairperson and works to promote cultural initiatives that advance the growth of Dubai’s creative and cultural industries. Namely, Dubai Design Week and the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. She aims to establish Dubai as a thriving center of talent and a worldwide cultural hub. As well as an opportunity for indigenous innovation. She is Chairperson of the Development Committee for the Al Quoz Creative Zone. She is also Vice Chairman of the Emirates Literature Foundation and a member of the Dubai Council.
