Right now, the 2021 Grammy awards are well underway in Los Angeles, California. There’s no traditional in-person attendance, but rather mini events and photo opportunities in the areas surrounding its normal Staples Centre location.
The red carpet arrivals are coming through thick and fast, one of which is girl band Haim. Dressed head to toe in custom lavender Prada (swoon), the trio seem to have taken beauty inspiration from the designer’s latest runway collection as well, especially in regards to hair.
Este, Danielle and Alana all wore their locks heavy and straight with a chunky, piece-y fringe to frame the face, as styled by Bryce Scarlett. It’s incredibly similar to the look Guido Palau created for the recent FW2021 runway show – a nice full circle beauty moment if there ever was one.
As for makeup, artist Loft Jet used Pat McGrath makeup products to create a look that was pared-back and ethereal. Skin was prepped with the Dermaflash Luxe Device before Pat McGrath’s Sublime foundation was buffed in, leaving the skin creamy and radiant. Lips were mostly nude, but each eye had a subtle sweeping of shimmer. Jet used the Mothership I: Subliminal Palette, with shades VR Violet and Astral White on the centre of the lid, specifically.
He finished with a few individual false lashes and a lashing of mascara – the perfect low key Grammys glamour.
