Here’s a sentence I never thought I’d write: Gigi Hadid has hard-launched her passenger princess status by seemingly soft-launching her relationship with Bradley Cooper.
After a whirlwind romance with Leonardo DiCaprio, it appears that the supermodel is in the bourgeoning stages of a relationship with a fellow Hollywood heavyweight. The Guest In Residence founder and Maestro actor were spotted together in Cooper’s car mere days after attending an intimate Italian dinner in the West Villiage’s Via Carota.
In images published by the Daily Mail, Hadid and Cooper were seen driving in the latter’s Mercedes G-Wagon after what appeared to be a weekend getaway. Hadid donned a casual figure for the innocuous tryst, including a pair of black denim jeans, matching black ballet flats and a cashmere sweater.
Yet, it was Cooper’s large duffle bag that gave their romantic hideaway, well, away, with the 48-year-old carrying a canvas tote and backpack signalling a weekend rendezvous.
Indeed, the hangoverout.
In photos taken later in the day, Cooper was observed dropping Hadid back to her zany NYC apartment.
Hadid was pictured getting out of the car carrying a Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandoulière 55, featuring the house’s signature monogram, and a woven Prada tote. It seems that after a whirlwind fashion month, Hadid is back to her regular routine as a single mum living her best life in New York.
As October is the official start of cuffing season, we wonder if Cooper and Hadid have any plans to share the holidays together. Plus, with Hadid sharing the runway multiple times with Cooper’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Irina Shayk, it could be the case that the streets of Manhattan may be playing host to a double date before we know it.
As for what Cooper and Hadid’s road trip playlist contained? We’re speculating a few appearances from Hadid’s Grammy Award-winning best friend, Taylor Swift. Would driving to “Getaway Car” as the pair escape the city be too on the nose?
