Introducing Ferragamo’s New Renaissance.

Blending art, fashion, and heritage, Ferragamo has partnered with Le Gallerie degli Uffizi, the iconic gallery that houses some of the world’s most renowned artworks from the 15th and 16th centuries for the fashion house’s FW23 campaign. This visionary collaboration, orchestrated by Creative Director Maximilian Davis, brings a fusion of the past and present, weaving the threads of history into a modern luxury take.

Davis envisions his designs not merely as clothing, but as living works of art which is brought to life by the juxtaposition of the garments against the backdrop of masterpieces by Bellini, Veronese, and Botticelli. In doing so, he forges a bridge between eras and creates a dialogue between tradition and innovation, artistry and opulence.

“The Renaissance is the heartbeat of Florence, and Florence is the soul of Ferragamo,” Davis emphasizes. As the Maison charts a new course, he draws inspiration from the city’s artistic legacy to give birth to the New Renaissance campaign. This artistic movement isn’t confined to canvases alone; it spills into every thread, every stitch, and every detail of Ferragamo’s latest collection.

The campaign’s essence mirrors Ferragamo’s own evolution. Just as its founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, was deeply intertwined with the artistic community, Davis collaborates with a group of modern creatives, including campaign photographer Tyler Mitchell. The campaign is a testament to creativity in motion, where musicians, models, and creators harmoniously animate artworks in a contemporary context.

This campaign is a celebration of Ferragamo’s deep-rooted connection with Florence, its ever-evolving aesthetic, and its promise to innovate, creating a future steeped in the brilliance of the past.
